Police investigate motor cycle crash on Waverley Street at Bellerive

Police are investigating the circumstances of a serious motor cycle crash in Bellerive this evening which resulted in a male person receiving serious injuries.

Around 8.45pm police responded to the crash on Waverley Street at Bellerive.

The pillion passenger of the motorcycle, an 18-year-old man from Bellerive, was transported to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a serious condition.

Waverley Street was partially closed for around two hours. Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
