Police are investigating three separate crashes at Longford this morning.

Eight vehicles and one bus were involved in three separate crashes on Illawarra Road shortly after 8am.

Illawarra Road was blocked between the Bass Highway and Midland Highway for several hours while the scenes were cleared.

Two people were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating and urge all motorists to drive to the conditions – if it’s wet and there’s fog, slow down and be mindful of other road users.
