Robbery – New Norfolk Hotel

Police are seeking information in relation to a robbery committed at the New Norfolk Hotel in High Street, New Norfolk yesterday evening.

Just after 9.00pm on Tuesday 2nd February, two males entered the hotel via the Steven Street entrance and walked into the gaming area.

One male offender has entered the gaming register area of the hotel and removed a quantity of cash from the register.  The male has been confronted by a patron who was then assaulted.

The offender has fled the hotel on foot via the High Street exit while the second male offender left from the Steven Street exit.

The male offenders have been described as:

  • Both being aged in their mid to late 20’s.
  • One male was wearing a dark coloured hooded top with dark pants.
  • The other male wearing a grey, white and black hooded jumper with light grey pants.

No persons suffered any serious physical injury during the incident.
