Second youth charged over burglaries, stealings across Invermay and Perth

Taskforce Raven members have dealt with a second youth in connection with a series of recent property and motor vehicle offences committed across Invermay and Perth.

On 1 September, Taskforce Raven members arrested a 15-year-old male youth in relation to a significant number of burglaries, stealing offences and motor vehicle thefts committed in the Invermay and Perth areas. 

The youth was subsequently charged and detained to appear before the court, where he was remanded in custody.

Following extensive investigations conducted by Taskforce Raven members, a second youth was identified and dealt with on Saturday 5 September.

The 16-year-old female from Mayfield will be proceeded against by summons in relation to:

 

  • Burglary x 5
  • Attempted Motor Vehicle Stealing x 1

 

Taskforce Raven continues to investigate offences involving serious property crime and remains committed to identifying and holding offenders accountable for criminal activity within the Northern District.
