Between 1am & 3am on Friday 20 August 2010, the ANZ Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) situated at Legana was entered and an unknown quantity of money stolen.

Unknown offender(s) have unlawfully entered a vacant building (formerly Sherlock’s Hardware), entered the rear of the ATM and removed money. Significant damage was caused to the ATM at an estimated cost of approximately $60,000.

Specialised police attended the scene and investigations are continuing by Launceston CIB.
