Tea Tree Road Crash

Just after 4:00pm on Wednesday 17th July 2019, police and emergency services attended a four vehicle crash on Tea Tree Road, Tea Tree.
A silver Mitsubishi Magna sedan was travelling west on Tea Tree Road, Tea Tree when it collided with a white Toyota LandCruiser Prado, white Suzuki Baleno sedan and a white Hyundai Lantra station wagon which were all travelling in an easterly direction on Tea Tree Road.
As a result of the crash, the driver (and only occupant) of the Mitsubishi Magna sedan, a 22 year old male from Sorell, received serious leg injuries.
All other occupants of the vehicles were conveyed to the Royal Hobart Hospital for observation but did not receive any serious injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
