Police have charged three people in relation to an aggravated armed robbery at a shopping centre in Glenorchy yesterday afternoon (7 July).

Police will allege that about 4.00pm three people entered the bottleshop and stole a quantity of alcohol before assaulting a staff member from the business.

The staff member received medical treatment at the Royal Hobart Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

A 19-year-old man from Warrane, 21-year-old man from Chigwell and 17-year-old youth have been charged with aggravated armed robbery and have been detained to appear in court on 9 July.
