Two charged over Moonah incident

Approximately 2pm on Wednesday 24 June 2020 an Aggravated Armed Robbery was committed upon a male youth at the Springfield Bus Interchange at Moonah.

 

The youth was accosted by two other persons who threatened him with an implement and punched him before taking his mobile phone.

 

A 20 year old male from Claremont and a 16 year old male from Moonah were arrested shortly after this incident, and have since been charged by Glenorchy CIB in relation to Aggravated Armed Robbery.

 

All parties involved in this matter and known to each other, and this incident appears to be the culmination of an ongoing feud.

 

No injuries were sustained by anyone involved in this incident.
