Two Vehicle Crash – Gladstone Road, Herrick

At about 9.40am on Friday 30 December 2016, a white Toyota Camry travelling towards Gladstone, has collided head on with a purple Holden utility, which was travelling towards Herrick.  The crash has occurred on the Gladstone Road, approximately 500 metres north of Herrick.

As a result, two occupants of the white Camry had to be cut from their vehicle and were airlifted to the Launceston General Hospital with serious injuries.  The two occupants of the Holden utility were also taken to the Launceston General Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.

Gladstone Road was closed for several hours as a result of the crash.

The crash is being investigated by personnel from Scottsdale Station.
