A 33 year old woman has been charged with arson following a fire at a house in Bambra  St, Lauderdale, yesterday morning.

At 9:40am Monday 16 September 2019, police and fire services attended a residential fire at 18 Bambra Street, Lauderdale and found the residence well alight.  The residence was unable to be saved and damage is estimated at $300,000.

This evening Bellerive Criminal Investigation Branch detectives charged a 33 year old woman with arson and driving charges.  She will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court at 10am Tuesday 17 September 2019.
