Man charged with armed robbery in Moonah
A man from Claremont has been charged in relation to an alleged robbery at a business in Moonah last night.
Police will allege the man entered a business on Main Road about 9.30pm armed with a small knife and demanded money.
The man then allegedly left the scene with a small quantity of cash and was quickly arrested without further incident nearby.
The 56-year-old man has been charged with armed robbery and unlawfully possess dangerous article in a public place.
He was detained to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court this morning.
No one was physically injured in the incident.
