Major Crime Investigation – Laying of Charges

Tasmania Police are currently conducting a major crime investigation in southern Tasmania in relation to previously unreported death. As a result of these investigations, a 39 year old Bagdad man has been charged with murder and two females have been charged with being Accessories after the fact of murder.

At approximately 6.45pm on Tuesday the 29 March 2011 Devonport Police attended the scene of a plane crash in the Mersey River, Devonport.

At 1652 hours, 27 March 2011, Tasmania Ambulance advised Tasmania Police they were sending seven ambulances to a private address at Conningham.
